How to delete your account
- In the app: Profile → Delete account
- By contacting: papera.app@icloud.com
- Through this public page
If you contact support by email, send the request from the email address linked to your account whenever possible.
What deletion removes
- Account profile data
- Selected topics stored with the account
- Notification settings and push-device registrations
- Liked papers
- Collections
- Saved papers
- Notes on saved papers
- The account record used for sign-in within Papera
What may not be removed immediately
- Short-lived encrypted backups may persist for a limited operational period.
- Third-party sign-in providers such as Google or Apple retain their own provider-account data under their own policies.
- Guest-mode local data may remain on a device until the app is reset or uninstalled.
