What Papera is

Papera is a discovery and reading-organising app for academic papers. It lets you browse a paper feed, save papers, organise collections, add notes, export saved material, and opt in to a daily digest.

Papera may surface paper metadata from third-party sources such as arXiv. Papera is not affiliated with or endorsed by arXiv or Cornell University.

Accounts and content

You can browse as a guest, but some features require an account. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.

You keep ownership of the limited content you create in Papera, such as collection names, collection descriptions, and notes. You give Papera permission to store and display that content only as needed to operate the service for you.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt to bypass or overload it, violate laws or third-party rights through it, upload malicious or abusive content, or use harmful automated methods against the service.

Sponsored content and deletion

Papera may display occasional sponsored cards in the feed. Advertising and ad consent are described in the Privacy Policy.

You can delete your account in the app or through the public deletion page at /delete-account.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your place of residence applies instead.
